Daylife is the official opening day event of Toronto Carnival 2026, held Thursday, July 30 at Lavelle, King West's premier rooftop venue. Sixteen storeys above downtown Toronto, Lavelle features two outdoor pools, panoramic skyline views, and one of the city's most sought-after summer settings — the ideal backdrop to ease into Carnival weekend. From 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, guests can expect a premium daytime atmosphere with Soca, Hip Hop, Reggae, R&B, and Old School sets, poolside cabanas, and VIP bottle service available. If you're arriving Thursday, this is where the weekend starts.
